Larry Gigli (Affleck) is a hitman for hire who is given the job of holding hostage Brian (Bartha), the retarded brother of a district attorney but, because he’s believed not to be 100% trustworthy, he is teamed up with a female assassin named Ricki (Lopez), a hard nosed no-nonsense lesbian, who turns up at Gigli house to help keep watch over Brian.

Often considered to be one of the worst movies ever made, I have to admit that I’ve seen a lot worse. The acting is flat and there is little or no chemistry between Affleck and Lopez, plus the whole "Affleck turns a lesbian straight again" story is wearing a little thin. There are some okay moments, but these are mostly outweighed by the pure disbelief at the blossoming romance between the two leads.
