Charlotte’s Web (2006) 7/10

Wilbur the pig (Kay) was born the runt of the litter, but was saved from certain death by farmer's daughter Fern (Fanning). He soon makes friends with a spider named Charlotte (Roberts) who, upon discovering that Wilbur will eventually be turned into bacon, endeavours to save his life by performing so-called miracles with her webbing.

This had the potential to be a great family movie. Unfortunately the director chose to make the animals surrounding Wilbur and Charlotte into juvenile parodies that spend most of the film making fartin noises. If you're able to look past this, you'll bare witness to some charming vocal performances from both Roberts and Kay who deliver their mother-son-like relationship with enviable skill.
