Starring : Maria Bello, Sean Bean, Maurice Roeves, Sophie Stuckey
Director : John Fawcett
Running Time : 89 mins
In a final attempt to reconcile with her estranged husband James (Bean), Adelle (Bello) brings her daughter Sarah (Stuckey) to a remote Welsh village. When Sarah goes missing, Adelle begins to suspect an old Welsh curse may be responsible and that her daughter is trapped in a parallel dimension, so Adelle starts to investigate the history of the curse in the hope of finding her daughter and getting her back.
I wasn't sure what to expect of this, but it wasn't that bad a movie. Bello's performance was a little lacklustre, but the two young girls put in quite good performances which rescued the movie from being too dull. Unfortunately the ending seemed unneccesary and seemed to be introducing an element to the movie that up until then hadn't been present, almost as if the director was lost for one final scare.
