Sheriff David Dutton (Olyphant) of the small town of Ogden Marsh, Iowa, is faced with a nasty situation when the residents of his town all start turning into violent maniacs. Joining forces with the last four unaffected town’s folk, Dutton tries to discover the source of the infection and possibly find a cure.
This wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but I also thought it might be quite funny. Sadly this was more like 28 Days Later than Slither, and basically played like a zombie movie. There’s nothing here that will really stick in your mind, except possibly for the writers notion of the American government caring little or nothing about the American people. Worth watching if you like zombie flicks, and it also might be worth comparing to the 70s original.
