An undercover government operative who has been given the task of investigating a highly addictive wonderdrug finds himself having to investigate himself. As he continues to look into his own behaviour and the behaviour of his friends, he soon discovers that the wonderdrug in question is causing him to start suffering from hallucinations starts to interfer with his job.
The look of this movie was what primarily sold it to the general public, but very little was ever said about the story line. Having watched it I actually thought it was a well structured and entertaining tale which takes the idea of drug addiction to another level. Definitely worth watching if you like the movie adaptations of Philip K Dick's works, which have included Minority Report, Blade Runner and Total Recall.
