This movie brings us a series of 26 short stories focussing on the subject of death, directed by a variety of directors from around the world.
This is an interesting anthology that starts off strong but then starts to get a little boring in the middle. Some of the standout sections include D Is For Dogfight, a story with a twist in which a man is forced to fight a dog to the death, K Is For Klutz, an animated segment where a women tries to get rid of an embarrassing turd, C Is For Cycle which is interesting but could have been better, X Is For XXL in which a fat women has enough of being ridiculed about her weight, N Is For Nuptials where a man’s infidelity is revealed by his new pet bird, and B Is For Bigfoot which really should have been longer. Saying that, some of the worst segments were I Is For Ingrown, which confused me because the name didn’t feel connected to the content, S Is For Speed which just reminded me of Bitch Slap, P Is For Pressure which felt like the ending was tagged on to get a P word, and F Is For Fart which was just stupid. Because these are so hit and miss, my overall ranking for this movie has dropped to a six, though some segments are easily 8s or 9s.
