When strange occurrences start happening around their house, including their food being mysteriously stacked to ceiling height in the kitchen and flocks of birds killing themselves by flinging themselves at their house, Lacy Barrett (Russell) and her husband Daniel (Hamilton) start to worry for their children’s safety. When Lacy sees a figure in their son’s room, they decide to install security cameras to find out what’s going on, they discover that all the members of the family have been having blackouts and that a sinister alien force may be out to get them.

Fans of Paranormal Activity and The Fourth Kind will find this movie runs over some very familiar territory, but at least it doesn’t claim to be found footage. The pacing is slow and the scenarios are over the top, but this is perfect for people who like ridiculous alien invasion movies and the twist ending might come as a surprise to even the most jaded amongst you.
