Our Idiot Brother (2011) 7/10

Starring : Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer, Rashida Jones, Steve Coogan
Director : Jesse Peretz
Running Time : 90 mins

Following his arrest for selling drugs to a uniformed cop, Ned (Rudd) is forced to move in with his mother. Eventually he starts getting involved in the lives of his three sisters, Miranda (Banks), Natalie (Deschanel) and Liz (Mortimer), gradually managing to interfere with all of their lives and causing them grief ranging from ruining their marriages to wrecking their job opportunities.

This was a pretty funny vehicle for Paul Rudd and the ensemble cast of characters involved. He manages throughout to remain both idiotic yet likeable, and the gradual progression of his sisters from hating his stupidity to growing to love him again is enjoyable to watch. This is well worth watching, especially if you’re a Rudd fan.
