When a damaged train is accidentally released onto live tracks, veteran engineer Frank Barnes (Washington) and his new trainee Will Colson (Pine) are forced to race against the clock to stop the train before it heads into the city, potentially killing hundreds if not thousands of innocent people.
In spite of this being a badly researched and ridiculously inaccurate action movie, I really enjoyed this movie. Washington and Pine are both convincing in their roles, and if you don’t allow the unlikely scenarios to get in the way of your enjoyment, this has Saturday night action movie written all over it.
