Ghost Ship (2002) 7/10

When a group of salvage workers find an Italian cruise liner, the Antonia Graza, that’s been missing for 40 years, they can’t believe their luck, and when they find is filled with millions of dollars in gold things couldn’t look better. Unfortunately the ship appears to be haunted, and the salvage crew start seeing spooky things loitering around, things that could get them killed…

I was surprised that I enjoyed this movie. I expected it to be rubbish, but when the guests on the ocean liner get killed I actually started laughing. Granted the gore is a little overplayed, and some of the plot isn’t really explained in any great detail, but overall it has the right level of scares to keep any horror fan entertained for ninety minutes.
