Starring : Lizzy Caplan, Alison Brie, Martin Starr, Geoffrey Arend, Mark Webber, Melonie Diaz, Timothy Busfield
Director : Michael Mohan
Running Time : 97 mins
With her sister Beth (Brie) about to get married, Sarah (Caplan) finds her boyfriend Kevin (Arend) wants to do the same, but when he proposes she turns him down and they break up. It isn’t long before she finds herself in a rebound relationship with Jonathan (Webber), one of her customers at the book shop.
With the likes of Lizzy Caplan and Martin Starr featuring in this movie, I expected a laugh out loud romantic comedy, but realistically this is a little depressing and not very believable. The characters are not very likeable, andt he decisions they make are often strange and rarely realistic. Fans of dramas in which the characters do everything wrong will like this, but don’t expect the feel-good rom-com that I was hoping for.
