When Boston cop Nick Walker (Reynolds) is killed by his crooked partner Bobby Hayes (Bacon) over a stash of gold, he finds himself employed by the Rest In Peace Department – a group of dead law enforcers who are tasked with the job of tracking down escaped dead people and bringing them back in – and partnered with angry lawman Roy Pulsipher (Bridges). It isn’t long before he comes to the conclusion that Hayes stolen gold has something to do with all the dead people flooding into Boston.

If you enjoyed the Men In Black trilogy, then this will be right up your street. Basically this is Men In Black with dead people instead of aliens, and it’s even based on a little known comic book. The story is simple and fun, and I find it hard to believe that so many people didn’t like this entertaining action comedy thriller.
